when someone says “i’m praying for you” during a disagreement, all i hear is “i’m pretending to feel empathy/sympathy towards you because i’m a self-righteous cunt, and it’s the only socially acceptable way i can tell you how superior i feel. thanks, imaginary sky friend!”
but mostly just “i’m a self-righteous cunt.”
